Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Event Support Expert to join our team at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. As a key member of our banquet services team, you will be responsible for creating a memorable and unique experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down materials, transport supplies, and stock bars and action stations to ensure seamless event execution.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and efficient event setup and teardown.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, quality standards, and uniform guidelines.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in banquet services or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
