Northwest Medical Center seeks a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our 20-bed Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) team in Tucson, AZ. As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care to critically ill patients with diverse medical conditions, including ARDS, Sepsis, CIWA, Stroke, Craniotomy, COVID, Abdominal/GI -perforated bowel, ENT, General post-Surgical recovery, Respiratory Failure, Renal Failure, Hypothermia Protocol, Arterial/Central/Dialysis Catheters, MODS- Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome, and all types of Shock
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance
Requirements
  • Current Arizona RN license or compact state license
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS & ACLS certification
  • Demonstrated experience in critical care nursing, preferably in an ICU setting
  • Associate's or Diploma in nursing program; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
