About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Senior Employee Relations Consultant, where you will work under minimal supervision to perform confidential employee relations matters from the human resource department.

The ideal candidate will have advanced skills, knowledge, and abilities for successful completion of tasks, with hospital or clinical experience preferred.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5 years of professional experience in one or more areas of human resource management, including at least three (3) years in assigned area with a Bachelor's Degree
  • Advanced skills, knowledge, and abilities for successful completion of tasks

Job Duties

As a Senior Employee Relations Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice, problem resolution, and facilitation in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and other related matters
  • Counsels, advises, and works with all levels of leadership and employees to identify and resolve work-related matters
  • Facilitates conversations between supervisors and employees to improve workforce performance and effectiveness
  • Maintaining required information in Employee Relations databases
  • Interpreting and communicating UTSW policies and procedures in a clear and consistent way to employees
  • Collaborating and/or consulting with various departments as needed

Estimated Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215.
