Job Overview:

Pkaza LLC is a leading third-party employment firm that specializes in MEP critical facilities design. We are seeking an experienced Critical Facilities Design Project Lead to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing engineering and design projects for data centers and critical facilities. They will oversee all phases of project management, including design, quality control, staffing, budget management, and client relationships.

About the Role:

  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing effective communication and project updates.
  • Design and Engineering: Oversee the design and engineering of facility and building systems for data centers and critical facilities.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial forecasts align with project status.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff, providing direction and guidance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture is required.
  • Certifications: P.E. license or AIA certification is preferred. PMP certification is also a plus.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in managing engineering projects, preferably in the consulting engineering industry.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills. Ability to create complex reports and forecast models using Microsoft Project and Excel.

Compensation:
