TooJay's Host Opportunity

As a Host at TooJay's Deli Bakery Restaurant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a welcoming and inviting experience. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will ensure that our guests feel valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests and manage the flow of customers, ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience
  • Communicate accurate wait times and engage guests with suggestions of our favorite menu items
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest satisfaction

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 16 years of age and willing to work hard and learn
  • Flexible and long hours required at times
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, exerting up to 20 pounds as needed
  • Must be able to maneuver throughout the dining and kitchen area throughout the shift
  • Ability to reach overhead, carry trays, handle hot and cold beverages, bend below the waist and communicate intentions to co-workers
  • Approach all encounters with Guests in a friendly, socially distanced and service-oriented manner
  • Continuously clean high touch points throughout the restaurant and restrooms when using
  • Maintain regular schedule in compliance with TooJay's business levels which may vary based on the needs of the restaurant and check list protocols per Covid-19 standards of cleanline
  • Maintain high standards of personal grooming, including wearing proper uniform and facial mask and gloves when/where if required and as regulated
