Investigative Analyst II

Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Investigative Analyst II to support the INTERPOL Washington, U.S. National Central Bureau (USNCB), Office of the General Counsel.
Responsibilities:
- Process, prepare, edit, and perform a comprehensive review of U.S.-issued Red Notices (fugitive bulletins).
- Ensure documents meet legal requirements.
- Write, edit, and prepare Red Notice drafts for legal review and approval.
- Receive and compile data and reports on complex law enforcement matters and projects from various internal and external sources.
- Prepare written reports summarizing the findings, status, or highlights of assigned programs.
- Utilize the USNCB's Envoy Communications Environment (ECE) to search for, organize, and manage case information.
- Transmit investigative information through international and domestic telecommunication systems.
- Answer and respond to electronic mail and phone inquiries from domestic and international law enforcement partners.
- Use the FBI's National Crime Information Center (NCIC), CBP's TECS, and INTERPOL's Automated Search Facility (ASF) to perform database queries.
- Inspect electronic case files and various documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Perform non-routine and complex assignments for projects of relatively limited scope or a portion of a larger and more diverse project.
- Communicate and collaborate with personnel from partner law enforcement and other agencies to resolve problems and coordinate work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1+ years of related experience performing basic tasks of this position required.
- Interim secret clearance upon date of hire is minimum clearance required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Capacity to leverage investigative, analytical, and evaluation methods and techniques specifically related to law enforcement and transnational crime.
- Ability to obtain secret clearance within 12 months.
- Ability to travel.
