Job Title: Investigative Analyst II

Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Investigative Analyst II to support the INTERPOL Washington, U.S. National Central Bureau (USNCB), Office of the General Counsel.

Responsibilities:

  • Process, prepare, edit, and perform a comprehensive review of U.S.-issued Red Notices (fugitive bulletins).
  • Ensure documents meet legal requirements.
  • Write, edit, and prepare Red Notice drafts for legal review and approval.
  • Receive and compile data and reports on complex law enforcement matters and projects from various internal and external sources.
  • Prepare written reports summarizing the findings, status, or highlights of assigned programs.
  • Utilize the USNCB's Envoy Communications Environment (ECE) to search for, organize, and manage case information.
  • Transmit investigative information through international and domestic telecommunication systems.
  • Answer and respond to electronic mail and phone inquiries from domestic and international law enforcement partners.
  • Use the FBI's National Crime Information Center (NCIC), CBP's TECS, and INTERPOL's Automated Search Facility (ASF) to perform database queries.
  • Inspect electronic case files and various documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform non-routine and complex assignments for projects of relatively limited scope or a portion of a larger and more diverse project.
  • Communicate and collaborate with personnel from partner law enforcement and other agencies to resolve problems and coordinate work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1+ years of related experience performing basic tasks of this position required.
  • Interim secret clearance upon date of hire is minimum clearance required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Capacity to leverage investigative, analytical, and evaluation methods and techniques specifically related to law enforcement and transnational crime.
  • Ability to obtain secret clearance within 12 months.
  • Ability to travel.
