We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) center in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area.

About the Job
  • Job Type: Full-time, 13 weeks contract
  • Shift: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: ASAP

Average Salary for this Position: $100-$120 per hour, with an estimated annual salary of $200,000-$250,000 based on a 40-hour workweek and 52-weeks per year.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess patients' communication and swallowing abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide skilled speech therapy services according to physician orders.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals within an interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive patient care plans.
  3. Evaluate patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and set realistic goals for patients to improve their communication and swallowing skills.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of speech-language pathology.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Current CPR certification.
