Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead our Cardiothoracic Operating Room team. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for creating a safe, healthy work environment that supports delivery of excellent patient care. You'll also be expected to foster a culture where highly engaged interdisciplinary team members can contribute to optimal patient outcomes and grow professionally.

In this role, you'll execute the strategic plan through effective communication with all team members, build relationships centered on trust, respect, and inclusion among colleagues, customers, patients, and their families. You'll uphold Northwell Health's promise to create a culture of connectedness, awareness, respect, and empathy.

You'll recruit, manage performance, inspire, and motivate team members by modeling leadership behaviors that embody Northwell's mission, vision, and values. You'll collaborate with team members across the organization to improve quality, patient-centered care through the use of best practices. Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
