Job Summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Service Dispatcher to join our team in Sacramento, CA. As a Service Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in the operational success of our HVAC company by managing service requests, scheduling technicians, and ensuring efficient operations within the service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Request Management: Handle service requests and communicate appointment details to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Create and manage work orders, scheduling technicians as needed to ensure efficient operations.
  • Dispatch Board Management: Oversee the Dispatch Board and track technician locations and tasks to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Customer Communication: Maintain customer communication, including follow-ups and handling complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Review and process technician quotes, purchase orders, and timecards to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Special Projects: Assist with preventive maintenance scheduling and special projects as needed to support the service department.
  • Financial Management: Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and expense report processing to maintain financial integrity.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in service dispatch or a related field.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Viewpoint Service Management software, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Education: High School diploma or GED required.
  • Background: HVAC and dispatching background is a plus, but candidates from the plumbing or electrical industries are also encouraged to apply.
Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in Sacramento, CA. The pay rate is $25-$30/hour, depending on experience. The work schedule is full-time, regular office hours (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday). The duration of this contract-to-hire position is [insert duration].
