Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Surgical Care Service at the Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in the Podiatry PAVE clinics, working under the direction of the Podiatrist. The successful candidate will be assigned to a daily clinic and will perform foot care for at-risk patients, as well as administrative duties to manage the clinic efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients in the Podiatry PAVE clinics
  • Perform foot care for at-risk patients under the direction of the Podiatrist
  • Manage the clinic efficiently, including administrative duties
  • Observe, record, and report changes in patient condition
  • Participate in the development and modification of patient-driven holistic care plans
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency
  • Full, active, current, and unrestricted licensure as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or District of Columbia
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic foot care experience and certification
  • Experience working with Podiatry patients
