Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst Intern to join our team. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for applying analytical and problem-solving skills to elicit requirements and specifications in the areas of medical science and laboratory workflow processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data to identify trends and patterns that inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other tools to support business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Pursuing a BS or MS degree in a technical, business, or science-related discipline
* Enjoy solving problems; inquisitive and analytical; engaged and motivated
* Able to work both independently and as part of a larger team
* Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with various groups to elicit requirements or specifications as needed
* Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external teams
* Demonstrated success in clearly documenting information in a clear and concise manner
* Ability to learn and absorb the processes and tools (JIRA, Top Team, Confluence) used for driving business analysis such as product lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
* Familiarity with data analysis software and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
* Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana)
* Knowledge of laboratory workflow processes and medical science concepts
* Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java)
* Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
* Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and processes
