About the Role

\This position requires an individual with experience in MIG/TIG welding, panel fitting, and body/paint hand and power tools. You should be comfortable working independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities

\* Create high-quality custom bodywork, panel fitting, and fabrication using MIG/TIG welding and other relevant techniques.
* Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of materials and communicate missing parts to management.
* Adapt to various premium quality mechanical components and research/assist in ordering as needed.
* Verify correct part fit prior to installation and inspect raw and finished products for conformance to specifications.
* Maintain the integrity of vehicles' exterior and interior during body component installation.
* Assist in daily workflow duties as needed and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
* Help maintain a clean shop and adhere to all health regulations and safety equipment guidelines.\

Requirements

\* Previous experience in automotive restoration or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
* MIG/TIG welding and panel fitting expertise
* Proficiency in body/paint hand and power tools with precise hand-eye coordination
* Strong attention to detail and ability to install components in tight spaces
* Comfortable operating an automotive lift and adapting to changing priorities
* Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to work daily
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new challenges
* Basic computer skills for timecard login/logout and task management\
