Job Summary

Bowie State University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data and Records Specialist to support the freshman and transfer teams with checklisting supporting documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to maintain confidential information and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the freshman and transfer teams with checklisting supporting documentation.
  • Update data in PeopleSoft to include transcript evaluations, education, and residency.
  • Assist and monitor the tracking of the transfer transcript evaluation process.
  • Update applicant records with external data.
  • Support the data entry lead with incoming document processing through email and postal mail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized with natural aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Conducts him/herself in a professional manner at all times.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
