About the Position

We are seeking a distinguished Professor to hold the Chaddick Chair in Opto-Electronics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. The successful candidate will be an exceptional senior researcher with a strong track record of leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary research projects in electro-optics.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field and a proven ability to develop and lead innovative research initiatives. They will also have a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring, with a focus on developing the next generation of electro-optic components, devices, and circuits.

Responsibilities
  • Lead large-scale, multi-disciplinary research projects in electro-optics
  • Develop and lead innovative research initiatives
  • Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
  • Contribute to the development of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering's research and education programs
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Strong track record of leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary research projects
  • Proven ability to develop and lead innovative research initiatives
  • Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring
