Surgical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Setup: Prepare the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
- Instrumentation and Supply Management: Maintain and manage surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring that they are properly cleaned, sterilized, and stored.
- Patient Care: Assist the surgical team in positioning patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during procedures.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with the surgical team, ensuring that all necessary information is shared and that procedures run smoothly.
- Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as equipment malfunctions or patient complications.
- Education: Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years inpatient hospital experience preferred.
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist credential required.
