Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Stroke Program Coordinator to join our team at Temple University Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in coordinating comprehensive care for stroke patients from admission to discharge.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of evidence-based stroke care guidelines and ensuring that our hospital's stroke program meets the recommendations of the Brain Attack Coalition and the American Stroke Association.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate continuity of care for stroke patients
  • Facilitate implementation of stroke care guidelines and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance stroke care services
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on stroke care metrics and outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in adult health with a focus on stroke care
  • General knowledge of brain attack coalition and American stroke association recommendations
  • RN-licensure in Pennsylvania
  • BLS certification
