We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist Specialist to join our team at WGNSTAR. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and program CNC machines to produce complex parts and components.
- Use Virtual GIBBS programming software to set up and execute fabrication tasks.
- Select and use appropriate cutting tools and supplies to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Inspect and test parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems with CNC machines and fabrication processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement new fabrication processes and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and AAS or certification in Machine Tool Technology.
- 2+ years of relevant experience on HAAS, DMG Mori Seki, or Doosan CNC machines.
- Virtual GIBBS programming software experience.
- Coordinate Measuring Tools (CMM) certification.
This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
