Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL driver to join our team at Roberts Hawaii. As a CDL driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to our customers, while also showcasing your exceptional customer service skills.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will have the chance to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds, including Japanese-speaking individuals. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to effectively communicate with customers and provide them with a seamless experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers with a smile and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey
  • Collect fares and handle customer payments
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate authorities
  • Assist passengers with special needs, such as wheelchair users
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL A or B license with P endorsement
  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Able to read, speak, and understand English fluently
  • Knowledge of local streets and hotel locations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
