Reservations Agent

Job Summary:

The Reservations Agent is a key role within our team, responsible for selling the benefits of Shanty Creek Resorts to callers and booking reservations for social and group guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sell the Resort\'s benefits to callers and book reservations for social and group guests.
• Answer telephone calls and provide accurate information in a polite and friendly manner.
• Accurately enter reservation request forms and telephone reservations.
• Follow through on all requests by guests within 24 hours when contacted by telephone, email or US mail, and immediately when guest is in-house.
• Maintain accurate and precise records on all social and group files.
• Know resort and all rate options, including packages.

Requirements:

• Professional experience in reservations or front desk in a hotel/resort setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent typing skills (45 wpm minimum).

• Personal and professional accountability is an important aspect of employment with Shanty Creek Resorts.
• Meet, on a daily basis, the personal appearance and uniform standards as identified by the Shanty Creek Resorts Employee Handbook.
