Instrumentation Pipefitter

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at EMCOR Group. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial process piping systems.

• Lay out pipe systems, supports, and related equipment according to blueprints and project specifications.
• Install industrial process piping systems, including stainless-steel and carbon piping.
• Assemble or secure pipes, fittings, and accessories using welding, brazing, soldering, or threading joints.
• Inspect and test installed systems using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, or other methods.
• Cut or bore holes in structures prior to pipe installation using hand or power tools.
• Load and unload tools and materials.
• Setup equipment at the beginning of the shift and breakdown at the end of the shift.
• Utilize blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedure.
• Compile lists of materials and equipment needed for projects.
• Maintain assigned tools and issued safety equipment.
• Maintain daily communication with direct supervisors and department managers.
• Supervise and support helpers on projects as required.
• Complete as-built drawings at the end of projects.

• 3+ years of commercial process pipefitting experience.
• Experience with installation of stainless-steel and/or carbon process piping systems.
• Ability to fit, solder, and layout piping systems.
• Previous use of electrical and manual tools required.
• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
• Work in a team environment with high safety and quality standards.
• Excellent organization, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Scheduling and time management skills.
