At Catholic Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Associate to join our team at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires working nights with a weekend and holiday rotation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing nursing care to non-acutely ill patients, and maintaining a safe and clean environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide basic nursing care such as taking vital signs and administering medications
  • Maintain patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
  • Participate in infection control measures and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; BLS certification within six months of hire/transfer
  • No prior experience needed; willingness to learn and grow with our organization
  • Mental and physical health sufficient to withstand strenuous activity, bending, lifting, walking
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
