Position Summary

The Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking a highly skilled individual to join our Musculoskeletal Imaging section. As a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including sports, oncology, rheumatology, and emergency cases. You will also have the chance to participate in research opportunities, including translational imaging and image processing facilities, supported by dedicated research and publications staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide primary diagnostic and consultative service in Musculoskeletal Radiology for exams performed at multiple locations.
  • Teach outstanding radiology residents and fellows.
  • Conduct research in the field of Musculoskeletal Imaging.

Qualifications

  • MD, DO, or equivalent.
  • Able to obtain state licensure in the state of New Mexico.
  • MSK fellowship, completed by contract start date, or comparable experience.
  • ABR board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Training or work experience in MSK ultrasound.
  • A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and learner success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
  • Desire to work in an academic radiology practice with residents and fellows.
