Job Summary

HD Supply is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide tier one technical support to associates, resolving basic computer, application, system, device, access, or performance issues across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to tier one support tickets by diagnosing and resolving basic incidents, problems, and requests.
  • Review system diagnostics and assess functionality and efficiency.
  • Follow all policies and procedures to ensure the security of organizational data and information.
  • Monitor security certificates and company compliance requirements.
  • Install and update company software and hardware.
  • Track the cost of replacing or updating computer hardware and/or software.
  • Provide after hours on-call support.
  • Participate in quality assurance and user acceptance testing and provide training to users based on new and revised functionalities.
Requirements

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
