Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the process of entering new documentation into the quality system, ensuring timely approvals and notifications.
  • Oversee the document revision process, including change requests, approvals, and notifications.
  • Initiate and complete SOP & Work Instruction and Process updates.

Corrective Action and Nonconformance:

  • Follow up on pending non-conformance actions to ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage non-conforming product to ensure timely disposition.
  • Manage non-conformance records.
  • Perform Non-Conformance Investigations.
  • Non-Conformance/Complaint Analysis and Reporting.
  • Non-Conformance/Complaint file management.

Auditing Support:

  • Support and provide updated documentation necessary for external and internal auditing.
  • Participate in internal auditing process, including actual auditing and reporting.
  • Host Regulatory Audits.
  • Host Customer Audits.
  • Manage Audit Finding.

Production Support:

  • Assist in the process of training existing employees.
  • Help to develop training procedures.
  • Lead the effort to communicate quality and training issues to employees.
  • Maintain communications boards throughout the facility.

Customer Support:

  • Create customer-facing documentation to communicate our QMS to customers.
  • Investigate customer issues and drive complete resolution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in quality or relevant field.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse equipment, flow of inventory, shipments, and production operating procedures.
  • 5-8 years of experience in quality systems.
  • Experience in an ISO-certified manufacturing facility preferred.
  • ISO auditing experience preferred.
  • Experience working in an injection molding manufacturing environment preferred.
  • IFS experience preferred.
  • CAPA/Non-Conformance Management experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Prior training in ISO 13485.
  • Experience and knowledge with ISO 13485.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Customer, quality, and results-oriented.

Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $88,000 to $95,000.
  • Bonus target: 3%.
  • Shift premium may be available depending on shift associated with the specific job opportunity.
  • Benefits including Medical, Rx, Vision, Dental, and Health Savings Account (HSA).
  • Retirement and Security benefits including 401k and Life Insurance.
  • 16 hours paid time each calendar year to perform volunteer services for Nordson-sponsored events.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility.
  • Ability to lift materials and product up to 55 pounds.
