The key areas of responsibility for this role include:

  • Facilitating the collection and completion of relevant documentation, including medical records and police reports, to determine donor eligibility.
  • Ensuring the timely submission of records to partners as required.
  • Performing quality record reviews in both paper and electronic formats.
  • Assisting with division-specific tissue activity and projects as directed.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in an Allied Science or a related field, with strong communication and writing skills. Previous experience in healthcare records management is highly desirable.

This role may require travel to other tissue bank facilities and may involve exposure to microorganisms, viruses, and hazardous chemicals. OSHA Risk Classification: High.
