Job Summary

VetJobs is seeking a skilled Journeyman Field Technician to join our team in a dynamic and growth-oriented organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment at customer locations to ensure maximum uptime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customer locations to perform equipment repairs and maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues using technical expertise and problem-solving skills
  • Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in diagnostic software
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record (Class B CDL preferred)
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
