As a Welder I, you'll work under limited supervision to assemble products, utilizing your knowledge of metallic materials and layout techniques. You'll be responsible for welding and joining materials together, working with hand tools, machines, and equipment using blueprints and shop drawings.
We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Mig, Stick, and Arc welding. Tig/Heliarc (Aluminum) experience is preferred, as well as fabrication/layout experience. You'll need to be able to read blueprints/shop drawings, use all presses, hand and power tools, and read a tape measure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working in a safe manner while wearing appropriate safety equipment and reporting any unsafe conditions or acts
- Being responsible for their area of the shop for housekeeping and organization
- Accurately filling out job slips at the end of each day
- Conducting themselves according to company policies, including attendance, smoking, breaks, clean up, vacation, PTO, cell phones, etc.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years Mig, Stick, and Arc welding experience
- Tig/Heliarc (Aluminum) experience preferred
- Fabrication/layout experience a plus
- Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings
- Use of all presses, hand and power tools
- Basic Math & Measurement aptitude
- Problem-solving skills
- Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Criminal Background Check & Drug screen
- Diploma/GED
- Pre-employment Screening
- Able to perform repetitive tasks; high physical activity
- Able to bend, kneel, stoop, stand, reach, climb, twist, and/or crawl
- Not afraid of heights
- Able to pass a weld test
- Good communication skills (read, write, speak, listen, and understand work instructions)
PPE:
- Steel-toes, hearing protection, and safety glasses required at all times
