We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Your Role

As a Personal Care Nurse with Aveanna, you will be responsible for delivering and documenting skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following physician orders and adhering to confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
  • Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as necessary.
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
  • Participate in and update the nursing care plan, taking appropriate action based on assessment and achieving expected outcomes.
  • Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention, implementing care to prevent risk or reduce risk.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
