About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at AltaPointe Health. As a key member of our psychiatric care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain vital signs, perform EKGs, and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) under the direction of a licensed nurse.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and interaction with patients, including crisis de-escalation and restraint procedures.
  • Assist patients with personal care, current events, and safety issues, while promoting a safe and respectful environment.
  • Document patient progress, behavior, and treatment goals in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED and current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Alabama.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
