About the Role
Frankfort Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled RN Step Down Nurse to join our team. As a RN Step Down Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments, diagnosis, care plan, and implementation of treatment for all assigned patients
- Perform initial triage evaluation and assign acuity level to patients;
- Administer treatments, medications, and procedures within scope of practice
- Participate in coordination of care with management staff, team leader, physicians, department staff and ancillary services
- Be responsible for delegation of duties to technical support staff maintaining accountability of delegation
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Licensure: Current KY RN or Compact State License in state of residence
- BLS obtained within 90 days of employment
