About the Role

This senior-level position requires a Juris Doctor with 7+ years of practice, significant experience with government investigations, and healthcare-related law expertise. You will be responsible for managing privileged investigations, consulting with business leaders and legal colleagues, developing investigative plans, and coordinating resources with international colleagues. Your expertise will be invaluable in identifying emerging issues, assessing risk, defining policy and process improvements, and supporting training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and conduct complex internal investigations, including interviews, document review, and data analysis.
  • Consult with business leaders and legal colleagues on compliance with laws and regulations, such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, U.S. Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, and False Claims Act.
  • Develop investigative plans and strategies with the Global Chief Litigation Counsel and team members.
  • Coordinate investigation resources and support with international colleagues in the GE HealthCare Global Law & Policy Team.

Requirements
  • Juris Doctor with 7+ years of practice.
  • Significant experience with government investigations, including but not limited to investigations conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice, Securities & Exchange Commission, and/or foreign equivalents.
  • Significant healthcare-related law experience at a large law firm, corporate legal department, and/or government agency.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.
  • Prioritization skills and ability to drive projects to conclusion.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a global environment.

Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This figure includes base pay, bonuses, and benefits.
