Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 per year, with a potential annual bonus. The company also offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Educator to join our team at Brooksby Village, a 5-star continuing care retirement community in Peabody, Massachusetts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the onboarding of new staff within Continuing Care, providing clinical education to employees, and partnering with clinical leaders to assist with professional development programs and orientation.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in electronic medical records, current licensure with the State Board of Examiner of Nurses as a Registered Nurse, and CPR/First Aide training. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, internet, and web applications, are also required.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to provide required in-service training to new and existing employees
  • Coordinate designated non-clinical sessions and clinical aspects of new general orientation as well as ongoing training for Continuing Care staff
  • Assist department directors to organize and present instruction in a manner that meets the needs of adult learners
  • Oversee and assist in the development and implementation of staff development plans
  • Provide ongoing education sessions based on identified trends and maintain functional employee in-service compliance records
