Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our network and security operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day management and support of the production network, installing and implementing network gear during network expansion or new site setup, and managing large-scale campus networks with thorough understanding of Cisco's layered architecture.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in switching technologies like VLANs, STP, VTP, GLBP, HSRP, EtherChannel, and BGP and EIGRP routing protocols. Additionally, they will have knowledge on Cisco's Wireless LAN products and technologies, as well as experience with technologies such as DMVPN and IPSec VPN.

The successful candidate will also have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, ability to perform effectively under pressure, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. They will be an excellent team player and have a strong understanding of network monitoring and management tools.

Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day management and support of the production network
  • Install and implement network gear during network expansion or new site setup
  • Manage large-scale campus networks with thorough understanding of Cisco's layered architecture
  • Have hands-on experience in switching technologies like VLANs, STP, VTP, GLBP, HSRP, EtherChannel, and BGP and EIGRP routing protocols
  • Have knowledge on Cisco's Wireless LAN products and technologies

Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages like Shell, Python, and PowerShell
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
  • Strong understanding of network monitoring and management tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
