Front Desk Associate

The Front Desk Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing personalized service and support to hotel guests. This role requires a high level of customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
- Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process all cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, following established procedures and maintaining the security of cash and credit card transactions.
- Responsible for maintaining the security of guest information and adhering to all local laws and regulations regarding health, safety, and alcohol services.
- May be required to book guest reservations, process cancellations, and revisions, and provide information on hotel services and room availability.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of previous hotel experience or retail customer service preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances preferred.
- Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred.
