Job Summary

This position requires a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, interpreting results, and providing guidance on instructional planning and intervention strategies.

About the Role

We are looking for a full-time School Psychologist with a minimum of 1+ years of experience working in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology, valid licensure, and proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments.

The selected candidate will be responsible for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies. Additionally, they will provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, and social-emotional functioning.
  • Interpret assessment results to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators to develop and implement evidence-based interventions and behavior management strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students, addressing various social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including 504 meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
