Medical Credentials Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Credentials Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare practitioners run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage credentialing applications, maintain databases, and adhere to internal policies and procedures.
Evaluate all credentialing processes to ensure compliance with state statutes and regulatory agencies such as NCQA, URAC, CMS, The Joint Commission, and Arizona and Utah Department of Health Services (DHS).
Create reports for tracking expiring licenses and certifications and conduct internal and external validation of credentialing file audits.
Serve as a liaison between HR, Quality Management, and the Business Office, facilitating the flow of credentialing information.
Support the Business Office staff and HR team in tracking and renewing licenses, professional liability, and certifications for healthcare providers.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in relevant credentialing roles, preferably in a hospital setting, with a preference for familiarity with CMS, AHCCCS, NCQA, URAC, and The Joint Commission guidelines.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
Certified Practitioner Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification is preferred.
Proficiency with MD/Staff or similar data collection and record management systems, and experience in multi-state credentialing and provider enrollment.
What We Offer:
$21.00 to $26.00 per hour.
