Snow Removal Specialist

The Snow Removal Specialist will provide professional snow removal services for our clients. This position is responsible for performing ongoing snow removal tasks during all hours of the day and night in all outdoor weather conditions while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Remove snow from designated areas using a salt truck.
  • Operate heavy equipment to remove snow and treat icy conditions for clients.
  • Distribute de-icing solutions safely and appropriately.
  • Perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions, including very cold, icy, and snowy weather.
  • Knowledge of proper equipment use: shovel, snow scrapers, snow blowers, salt spreaders.
  • Proper application method of chemical application.
  • Part-time/on-call for weather events 24/7.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Knowledge of snow truck removal strategies.
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift, grasp, carry, push, and pull as needed.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds plus.
  • Must be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions: hot, cold, freezing, rain, snow, wet weather conditions, and have proper attire.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must have reliable transportation to the branch or first job site.
  • Safe driving record and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required.
