Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Liberty Health, providing exceptional care to patients with geriatric needs. This is a part-time night shift position, requiring flexibility and dedication.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering medications as ordered by physicians, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to facility policies.
  • Liaising with medical staff, leading, guiding, and supervising nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Performing routine treatments, documenting procedures, and maintaining infection control measures to prevent the spread of illnesses.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participating in research related to quality nursing care, as assigned.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling annual physicals, and ensuring timely documentation.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience when interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and a commitment to teamwork.
  • CPR certification and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to make informed decisions regarding nursing problems, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
