Fresenius Medical Care seeks Renal Care Specialist to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Job:
This position plays a vital role in supporting our mission to provide exceptional renal care services to patients. As a Renal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Your primary focus will be on delivering excellent patient care while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Patient Care Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.
  • Duties/Activities: Assist other health care members in providing patient-specific detailed education regarding disease process/access.
  • Principal Responsibilities and Duties: Evaluate vascular access for patency and report any unusual findings to the nurse supervisor.
  • Patient Safety: Monitor patients' response to dialysis therapy and report any unusual findings to the nurse supervisor.

Maintenance/Technical Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Disinfection: Clean and disinfect dialysis machine surface chair equipment and surrounding area between treatments according to facility policy.
  • Solution Delivery System: Initiate Solution Delivery System (SDS) system.

Clerical/Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Treatment Data Entry: Enter all treatment data into the designated clinical application accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Chart Preparation: Prepare initial patient chart for admission and compile paperwork for appropriate placement in chart.

Other Responsibilities:
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned.

$62,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience, including benefits like medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development. Fresenius Medical Care North America maintains a drug-free workplace in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. Employees are required to take the Ishihara's Color Blindness test as a condition of employment.
