We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at BlueWater Federal Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of IT services and support our Department of Energy program.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 Help Desk support to our user community, utilizing various tools and technologies to resolve issues efficiently. They will also be responsible for performing daily checks and performance monitoring to ensure system integrity.
Responsibilities- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 Help Desk support through phone, email, or drive-by assistance.
- Follow established processes to reset user passwords, create/delete user accounts, and assign account privileges using Active Directory.
- Utilize remote access tools such as DameWare, Jabber, Microsoft Teams to resolve issues.
- Log tickets using Ticket Web (JIRA) and document known fixes for future reference in our knowledge base.
- Perform WebRAO duties to issue PKI certs for secure browsers.
- Onboard new employees and train them on our systems.
- Support iPhone 13 and tablet devices by setting up email access.
- Daily checks and performance monitoring to ensure system integrity, documenting and reporting alerts per established processes.
- Assign, activate, troubleshoot, and reset RSA Tokens.
- Manage Entrust Administrator duties, including creating, restoring, and troubleshooting accounts.
- Educate users on how to escalate issues to Tier 3 teams when necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of IT experience.
- An active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Q and SCI clearance.
