Los Angeles, California, United States Speak Full time

At Speak, we're on a mission to revolutionize language learning by providing an AI-powered experience that replicates the flow of a conversation. We're seeking bilingual Japanese actors to appear in our app-based video lessons as language teachers.

About the Role

In this role, you'll be seated behind a table facing a camera and deliver pre-written scripts explaining language concepts and phrases for learners. You'll portray a professional who is excited that their friend has decided to learn a new language, conveying helpful and friendly vibes rather than a strict teacher vibe. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-written scripts explaining language concepts and phrases for learners.
  • Portray a professional who is enthusiastic about helping others learn a new language.
  • Convey helpful and friendly vibes through your teaching style.
Requirements
  • Bilingual in Japanese and English.
  • Native Japanese speaker or heritage Japanese speaker preferred.
  • No accent when speaking English.
Benefits
  • Hourly rate: $50-$75 per hour.
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives by helping them achieve their language learning goals.
  • A dynamic and supportive work environment.
