Data Governance Analyst Role

MISO is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing data governance tools and processes, focusing on metadata management and data quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and enhance enterprise governance management systems, including data glossaries, catalogs, and quality processes.
  • Implement data quality standards and monitor accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
  • Collaborate with data practitioners to embed governance processes and ensure data-driven decision making.
  • Maintain documentation for data governance processes and standards.
  • Provide first-level support for data governance tools, including troubleshooting and basic configuration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years relevant hands-on work experience.
  • Proven experience managing and enhancing enterprise metadata management systems and processes.
  • Experience collaborating across areas, embedding data governance into business operations, and facilitating data-driven decision making.
