Job Title: Dialysis Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hemodialysis healthcare team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients.

About the Role:
  • As a Dialysis Healthcare Specialist, you will function as part of our multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • You will be responsible for referring patients to dieticians, social workers, or vascular access centers as required.
  • Evaluate lab results, answer patient questions, and set up and operate hemodialysis machines.
Responsibilities:
  1. Check and record patient vitals before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
  2. Ensure accurate administration of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments.
  3. Monitor patients during dialysis treatment to identify any adverse reactions.
  4. Prepare and update nursing care plans.
  5. Promptly notify medical practitioners of any issues that occur during dialysis treatments.
  6. Collaborate with dialysis technicians to ensure proper setup of dialysis machines and equipment.
  7. Educate patients on dialysis treatment options, kidney disease management, nutrition, and exercise regimens.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in a clinical setting.
  • Active RN license within the State of practice.
  • Current certifications (dependent on facility).
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated basic EKG competency.
  • Clinical knowledge and decision-making ability.
