About the Position

Premier Pump & Power, a family-owned manufacturer of industrial pumps and energy solutions, is seeking a driven and dynamic Business Development Manager to join its Sales Team in the Eastern US region.

Job Summary

This role combines traditional sales activities with marketing projects to drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a technical aptitude, a passion for building client relationships, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Manage Relationships: Establish strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their unique challenges and offering tailored solutions.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop impactful sales and marketing collateral, including brochures, newsletters, presentations, and technical specifications.
  • Customer Experience: Guide customers through the sales process, ensuring a positive experience and fostering long-term business relationships.
  • Trade Shows and Events: Assist in planning and attend trade shows, representing the company professionally at all times.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Update and maintain CRM tools, ensuring accuracy and tracking sales progress.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven sales management experience in the industrial equipment or pump manufacturing environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven track record of closing new business sales contracts, strong technical understanding, and self-motivated with a proactive approach and results-driven mindset.
