Job Title: Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Fairfax, Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide treatment, tests, and client education to help our clients achieve optimal physical well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, and client education as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure or certification in the state of Virginia.
  • Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
