The Parts Procurement Specialist will be responsible for directing the procurement of OEM and After Market Parts and Supplies through the approved supplier network. This role must be aligned directly with vehicle maintenance/repair shop processes to support operations vehicle uptime and technician productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the procurement of OEM and After Market Parts and Supplies through the approved supplier network.
- Align with vehicle maintenance/repair shop processes to support vehicle uptime and technician productivity.
- Provide leadership and discipline for in-house inventory management.
- Implement company processes and standards for inventory management.
- Develop a plan to control inventory to achieve six turns annually.
- Manage supplier network inventories to ensure replacement parts are available just in time.
- Play a direct role in warranty recovery.
- Plan and manage fuel network, maintain core returns, and manage the breakdown process.
Requirements:
- Ability to develop and control inventory plans.
- Strong leadership skills for managing in-house inventory.
- Proficiency in managing supplier networks.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Experience with warranty recovery and core returns management.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with Technicians, Drivers, and Operations.
