Event Production Manager

Stagedge is seeking a seasoned Event Production Manager to join our project team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale live, hybrid, and virtual events.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual who can oversee all technical aspects of event production, from design and planning to execution and delivery. The Event Production Manager will be responsible for leading the technical team, ensuring seamless communication between staff, clients, and vendors, and maintaining show flow documents and calling cues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive event plans, including technical requirements, budgets, and schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Maintain and update show flow documents, calling cues, and technical drawings as needed.
- Ensure compliance with client and venue specifications.
- Lead the technical team during events, providing clear direction and guidance.
- Provide timely feedback and updates to account and department managers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in event technology.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- At least 10 years of experience in event production, with a focus on large-scale live, hybrid, and virtual events.
- Advanced knowledge of event audio/video design and installation, rigging, and plot creation.
- Experience with virtual event applications, including Zoom Client, Zoom Rooms, vMix, and remote graphics operation.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Salary Estimate
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards.
