We are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to provide direct care and medication assistance to our residents at Volante of Sage Spring. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining security and accountability for medications during your shift, as well as inventorying controlled substances and providing accurate reconciliation of the inventory. You will also be responsible for weekly verification that residents who are approved to administer their own medication are doing so and, where applicable, are completing the medication administration record sheet. Additionally, you will assist with the review of medication books for errors and provide assistance or reminders with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed. You will also be responsible for spreading happiness through general housekeeping duties, keeping our residents' living spaces clean, safe, and tidy.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous med tech experience in a similar environment
- Certification based on individual state requirements
- Flexibility, adaptability and a great attitude
