Transportation Specialist

Hutto Independent School District is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure safe and orderly transportation of students on assigned routes. As a Transportation Specialist, you will operate school buses that transport students and other authorized personnel to and from schools or designated locations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate school buses in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of students during transportation.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and administrators.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized bus environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas commercial driver's license (Class B) or willingness to obtain one.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass alcohol and drug tests.
• Completion of required bus driver safety training.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to communicate effectively.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary for this position, estimated to be around $$55,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This salary may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
