About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Elite Staffing Network. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing a complete range of anesthesia care for a diverse Veteran population at MEDVAMC in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-anesthetic patient history and physical, including collection of preoperative consults and data
  • Develop and implement anesthetic plans, communicating risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients
  • Administer inhalation, regional, intravenous, local, and/or topical anesthetics, with continuous evaluation of patient's physical status and response to anesthesia
  • Provide post-anesthetic management of patients to optimize recovery and minimize pain
  • Ensure timely and accurate anesthetic record charting and anesthesia service documentation
Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years experience as a CRNA
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
  • Current, full active and unrestricted licensure as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or in the District of Columbia
